Started my preparation for the powerlifting nationals for masters on april 15th. Started fairly light for bench and squats, the deadlift was more of a true 1RM test prior to starting this 8 week meet preparation cycle. Squat 1 x 143 kilo's, Benchpress 1 x 109 kilo'sDeadlift 1 x 185 kilo's

Feb 21, 2012 - U have inspired me so much can I ask on assistance work are you doing pulling movements on the pushing days. And if so how is the progress on the pulling strength? I know it's not a focus on this program.

Feb 22, 2012 - Great to hear. Keep pushing to whatever you set your sights on. Yes, I do all my pulling (rows, chins, pull downs) on my upper body days. I try to get stronger on these assistance lifts, but gradually. My main focus is on the bench, squat and deadlift.
